Taxes, Tipping & Other Charges:  There is an 18% government room tax and a 10% service charge.  The departure tax from St. Lucia is $11 plus $4 security tax.  A 10-15% tip is usually expected in restaurants, if it is not already added to the bill.

Climate:  St. Lucia is a mild climate and enjoys constant trade winds.  The average annual temperature is 82 degrees F and the green season lasts from June through November.
